Montessori Low Toyshelf
Our low toyshelf meets Maria Montessori's postulate that children must be able to choose their own activities. In this way, they develop self-confidence and can freely change and adapt their decisions to specific situations. By choosing a toyshelf for your child's room, you will provide your toddler with a space that will support his development. A preschool-aged toddler enjoys using properly designed furniture, from which he takes toys or aids and moves them to the area of his activities, to put the place back later. Observe your child's decision-making process. If you foster this skill, in adulthood it will become a very important feature of this already mature person.

Our low toyshelf has two shelves to which the child has unrestricted access. The furniture stands directly on the floor and measures only 44cm high.

Montessori furniture collection is all about safety and quality

The toyshelf is made of 15mm plywood created from certified hardwood. This material is designed for the manufacture of children's toys and furniture. It was designed so that a child can climb over it and not cause the furniture to fall over. It owes this to the shifting back of the low center of gravity by adding a solid back. All elements of the bookcase have been carefully hand-finished and are free of sharp edges. They were protected with certified preparations with the appropriate approvals.

Toyshelf is placed low, directly on the floor. It does not stand out too far from the wall (it is 35cm deep), so it allows free arrangement of the room. Toyshelf has two shelves, and the toys on them are easily accessible even to a very young child.

The product is designed for self-assembly using only a screwdriver and a few minutes of free time.

The toyshelf can be ordered in several color options: only carefully sanded - prepared for self-painting, covered with clear varnish or paint in colors: white, gray, mint or blue. The plywood from which the bookcases are made is protected with approved water-based varnishes, and in the case of surface coloring, safe color varnishes were used.

A perfect complement to this toyshelf will be our low bookshelf. Both pieces of furniture can make an aesthetically pleasing and functional set - especially since we offer them in the same color scheme.
